Tour highlights: Explore the delightful hill station of Sapa with its alpine atmosphere and colonial architecture. Trek through this beautiful mountain region and observe the varied customs and cultures of some of the minority people. Visit several colorful markets where hill tribe minorities trade their goods. Night 1: Night train to Lao Cai Station (C,G) South Pacific Travel's bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you for the overnight train to Lao Cai Station. Day 1: Lao Cai Station – Bac Ha Market – Sapa Town (B, L , D) : Arrive in Lao Cai Station do a little bit morning exercise, feel ready for our trip. On the way we will stop for breakfast and then transfer to Bac Ha Market ( 75km from Lao Cai station). Unlike those in the tourist areas, the markets that we choose are for not only buying and selling, but also meeting places for ethnic minority people to meet and exchange news. There will be plenty of colour and authentic costumes, but very little to buy as souvenirs unless you want to barter for a water buffalo or a sack of fertiliser. After having picnic lunch time for you to discover ethnic markets. The way they buy and sell and you can try your ability to bargain. About 2pm transfer to Sapa Town , a small town perched on the mountainside opposite Mt. Fansipan , Vietnam 's highest peak for your overnight stay. Day 2: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai village – Lao Cai Station (B, L). Breakfast will be ready to served at 7am. You will check out and leave your luggage in the hotel then get yourself ready before heading down around 8km to visit Cat Cat and Sin Chai village of the Black Hmong picnic lunch at a waterfall. Dinner is for your choice and then get fresh with a shower in the hotel's day room then transfer to Lao Cai Station for overnight train back to Hanoi . The trekking day: A typical trekking day start at about 8.30 am after breakfast. Lunch times can vary depending on the terrain. We aim to reach the next overnight stop by 4.30 or 5. The transfers: In Hanoi , Our guide will accompany you to the train to show you your cabin and tell you how to deal with night train traveling in Vietnam . In Lao Cai, our guide will meet you at Lao Cai Railway Station in the morning of the first day. He also sees you off at Lao Cai Railway Station on the third day. When you get back to Hanoi on day 4, you can easily find a taxi to get to your hotel.
